Cassy Legaspi sends love to ‘best friend, partner in crime’ Darren Espanto on his birthday

Fans of Cassy Legaspi and Darren Espanto could not help but gush over the pair after the actress sent her birthday greetings to the singer, describing him as “D total package.”
Legaspi greeted Espanto while showing snaps of them together through her Instagram page on Wednesday, May 24.
“Happiest happiest birthday to my best friend, partner in crime, the other half of my brain and…sige na…my RM/Namjoon,” she began, referring to the member of K-pop boy group BTS.
“Thank you for sticking with me through it all and most importantly, thank you for being patient with me,” she continued. “Thank you for always taking care of me and for feeding me (no, because literally…) and for always letting my parents/team know that I’m in good hands.”
The actress then admired Espanto for being “genuinely kind, thoughtful, caring and a true gentleman,” reminding the latter to “rest and to take it easy” at times.

Espanto also received birthday greetings from fans, with one @ayenyours quipping how the “DB” in legaspi’s greeting stands for “D Boyfie.”

While there are speculations of brewing romance between them, Espanto disclosed in 2022 that he and Legaspi were “very close” and that they knew almost everything about each other. The pair have since been frequently seen together including when they went on a Batangas beach trip last August, and when they celebrated Cassy and her twin brother Mavy’s birthday over dinner last January. /ra
