In the trailer uploaded on Columbia Pictures Philippines’ YouTube channel on Wednesday, April 19, Josh (Patrick Wilson) and Dalton Lambert (Ty Simpkins) confront a series of nightmares brought by their family’s dark past, as well as supernatural terrors that lie beyond the so-called red door.

FEATURED STORIES

The storyline is said to be set 10 years after the events of 2010’s “Insidious” and 2013’3 “Insidious: Chapter 2” where Josh and Dalton are haunted by paranormal beings as they are forced to gain control over the repressed demons of the Lamberts’ past.

“Insidious: The Red Door” also marks Wilson’s directorial debut, while the screenplay is written by Scott Teems.

The film will be released in theaters in July of this year, as seen in the description of the teaser trailer. EDV
