On days when I have nothing on my schedule, I just stay at home, have coffee, play the guitar—the simple things. Muni-muni lang. I enjoy those types days the most.

We have always been the traditional type. We just celebrate at home and look forward to that day where we do nothing, sit back, eat, have a chat and reminisce about our childhood and the days when my dad was still alive.

But of course, we want to try to make the day as special as possible, because it’s not often my family becomes complete. We set the table nicely and make the dinner special. We dress up. It’s family time, after all.

Christmas will be at Freddie Webb’s home (father of her partner, former basketball player and Magnolia Hotshots assistant coach Jason Webb). New Year’s Day celebration will depend on the standing of Jason’s team.

I’m hoping for changes next year—para hindi boring. I have a new business venture, a B&B in La Union. So that’s exciting. I have been baby-ing that project since June. It has been on my mind every day.
