Manny Pangilinan visits Dolphy

MANILA, Philippines—Businessman Manuel V. Pangilinan assured Dolphy on Saturday that he was well taken care of, a TV5 official said.

“Nakausap siya ni boss. Nakapasok si boss. Even held his hand and assured him he is well taken care of,” Percy Intalan, Creative and Entertainment head of TV 5 told reporters in an interview.

Pangilinan-owned TV5 is now the home network of the ailing King of Comedy.

Intalan said Dolphy was looking good and was even responsive.

“In fact from afar nakita ko may sinasabi siya kay Zsa Zsa,” Intalan said.

Intalan said Pangilinan had a long talk with Dolphy’s family members and that they updated Pangilinan on the veteran actor’s health condition.

“Bukod sa Kapatid, he is comedy king,” Intalan said. “He is bigger than any network.”
