Dolphy remains in ‘critical but stable condition’, says son
MANILA, Philippines — Actor-comedian Rodolfo “Dolphy” Quizon is still in “critical but stable” condition, his son said Thursday, adding, that they’re “waiting for good news”.
“Anything can still happen. Para sa akin ngayon, no news is good news since alanganing oras yun and gabi tapos pag dumating yung doktor ibig sabihin may mabigat na mangyayari. Pero ngayon wala pa namang nangyayari so there’s nothing to worry about. Pero yun nga para sa akin no news is good news and good news is better news,” said Ronnie Quizon.
Quizon said the whole night went smoothly for Dolphy and that he was relaxed while in sleep.
“Sarap ng tulog humihikab pa nga eh,” Quizon said.
He said that Dolphy had been showing positive signs since doctors were administering lesser doses on him, but “it still remains to be seen kung paano magrerespond si Daddy.”

“Nararamdaman mo sa movement niya na he wanted to reach out. Unfortunately, I could not understand what he was trying to say but I knew he understood me,” he said.
Quizon said that Dolphy’s family and friends were taking rounds in attending to him, going home only to change or to bathe.
Ronnie said his family would be eternally grateful for all the overwhelming messages of love, concern, support, and prayers.
