Filipino indie competes in New Delhi fest

Filipino indie filmmaker Jet Leyco’s “Ex Press,” which won special jury prize in Jeonju, will also compete at the 12th Osian Cinefan Film Festival, running in New Delhi, India, from July 27 to August 5. Leyco and Joanna Vasquez Arong also won script and project development grants from the Hubert Bals Fund of the Rotterdam international film fest. Worth 10,000 euros, the grants are earmarked for upcoming projects, Leyco’s “Leave It For Tomorrow, For Night Has Fallen” and Arong’s “The Sigbin Chronicles.” Bayani San Diego Jr.
