Dimples Romana’s big reveal about her Baby No. 3
The family of Dimples Romana, who is currently pregnant with her third child, will know the baby’s gender in the coming week.
The 37-year-old actress made the big reveal during a recent live Facebook event, where she also referred to the child in her womb as “Baby E.”
Dimples explained that the baby is the fifth member of the family and that the other members have names starting with the first four letters of the alphabet. Dimple’s 7-year-old son is named Alonzo, her husband is Boyet, and her 18-year-old daughter is Callie.
“I want to share my joy with everybody. This is something that’s very important to me and my husband. I’m expecting Baby No. 3,” said Dimples, who also made the same announcement on her Instagram account.
“I was already happy where we’re at. I already felt content in my heart. This is why when this additional blessing arrived, I felt overwhelmed with happiness,” she said. “I was really surprised because we weren’t even trying to have another child. We already have Callie and Alonzo; para sa amin sapat na. Seven years later, another one arrives.”

“I was also asking why an additional blessing came to us. I guess blessings come when the Lord sees that you’re ready for it,” Dimples pointed out. “I also guess it’s because my body is in good shape. I feel great, especially after having lost the extra weight. Prior to getting pregnant, I have been doing all these exercises. I can say I’m ready for all the challenges I’m about to undertake with the coming of Baby E.”

I get pregnant every decade, as in! Callie was born in 2003, Alonzo in 2015 and Baby E in 2023. With the coming of Baby E, I feel it’s a great way to begin another journey as a mom. I’m excited. I’m lucky to be a mom to another human being at this stage in my life, when I’m at my happiest.”
She admitted that she has a lot on her plate at the moment. Her drama series, “Viral Scandal” is still streaming on the Kapamilya Channel. She is also helping Callie prepare for the latter’s trip to Australia where she will study. Dimples also revealed on her Instagram account earlier that she is taking up a course called Marketing and Public Relations in Social Media at the New York University (NYU) Continuing Education.
“I don’t want to stop learning. When I talk about something, I want it backed up by education and experience,” she pointed out. “We can all do this. No one is stopping us. Studying online is easier now, especially during the pandemic. The only thing that’s difficult is that since my school is in America, the time zones are opposite. I go online at 9 p.m. here.”
Brain itch
She further said: “I enrolled because I feel this constant itch in my brain. I always yearn for education no matter what phase of life I am in. I also want to be able to say to my children that mommy is still learning even in her late 30s. This will also inspire them so that when they’re older, they’d say they had parents who always yearned for education.”
Also at the event, Dimples was asked to give words of encouragement to those who might be feeling not too confident about themselves. “I chanced upon a book that said, ‘We are not enough right now, and it’s OK.’ I looked at it and thought, but we always say ‘you are enough.’ I guess it’s a very interesting insight to actually embrace a phase in your life when you’re actually feeling that you’re not enough.
Dig deep, zone out
“It’s sad because we sometimes feel the pressure from our own families; like when a relative says you’re already at the right age so you should get married, or you’re already too old to still be studying college. If you’re feeling discouraged, try to dig deep and zone out from all the noise. Listen to your inner voice. It will always know what to say because you, more than anyone else, know your capabilities and weaknesses.”
Dimples also said it would help if you have mentors you can consult with. “These are people you can talk with about your worries. They will try to lift you up, motivate you. Don’t hang out with people who are filled with negativity. Also, what I do, especially for people I work with, is to try to highlight what’s good in them, compliment them. Once they’ve already developed their confidence, they will always remember how you made them feel.”
