‘That’s Entertainment’ alum Romano Vasquez passes away at 51
“That’s Entertainment” alum Romano Vasquez, whose real name is Romanito Romano Anacan Dila, passed away yesterday, Jan. 23, his wife Alma Panuelo Dila confirmed.
Vasquez died in his home in Cavite City, at around 6 p.m., as per reports. He was 51 years old. The cause of his death was not disclosed to media.
Alma asked the public for prayers and respect, as they go through the grieving process. Vasquez’s remains are at the Imperial Crown Funeral Service at Trece Martires, Cavite City.
Vasquez started his career in the 1980s GMA Network teen-oriented variety show “That’s Entertainment,” which was founded by the late German “Kuya Germs” Moreno. Vasquez also starred in various films including “Noel Juico, 16: Batang Criminal,” “First Time… Like A Virgin!” “Dark Tide” and “Epimaco Velasco: NBI.” JB
