Glam gal gets down and dirty
Glamorous Celebrity always looks impeccable onscreen. However, she recently showed a jologs side for all the world to see.
GC was spotted in a mall, disheveled and wearing ratty clothes and slippers. Nothing wrong with flip-flops, but she should have washed her feet first.
Again, in a popular watering hole, GC was seen having a loud, almost violent altercation with a former flame. This ex was of the same gender. Oh.
Molested
When he was younger, Basketball Hunk got drunk in a party. One of the employees in the venue, a Closet Case, allowed BH to sleep in the office, rather than risk driving.
While BH was snoring, CC got busy on the unconscious guy. It wasn’t BH’s first close encounter of the queer kind, however. When he was a teenager, gay schoolmates had reportedly taken turns. Whoa.

Article continues after this advertisementWhen a cab driver in an Asian destination saw that his passenger was Filipino, he gleefully recalled an encounter with Cute Scion of a political-show biz clan back home.
The cabbie said CS engaged him in a chitchat and bragged about his family’s wealth and power. So did CS give the driver a commensurate tip? Apparently not.
Not so innocent?
It’s being whispered about in the four corners of a major studio: Aided by colleagues, Hunky Actor schemed to have Showbiz Insider dropped from a high-profile project.
HA complained to the bosses of SI’s “inappropriate behavior” and other lapses. Of course denials came swiftly and furiously.
A mole suspects that HA was a willing “victim.” Hmmm.
New recruits
According to a mole, GMA Artist Center has two new recruits following the retirement of former head Ida Ramos-Henares, who will maintain a consultancy post.
Simoun S. Ferrer, formerly of Unilever, is already on board as head of the branding and marketing team, the source related.
The other new officer, who has yet to start, is a former Kapamilya. The network rigodon continues.
Top of the Talk Shows
For those who missed last weekend’s TV gabfests (And why we are moved, if we are moved):
Pauline Luna, asked if she gave rumored boyfriend Vic Sotto a “special gift” for his recent birthday: “Wala! Hahaha!” (Pero parang masaya siya, ha?)
Jinkee Pacquiao on people criticizing her marriage with Manny Pacquiao: “Dapat maging masaya na lang sila na andito kami ngayon, at naging closer pa kami sa Panginoon. Read the Word of God para malaman nila kung gaano kami kasaya ngayon.” (Just be honest, even if it means punching him. He can take it.)
Marian Rivera on rumors that she’s pregnant: “Hindi totoo, ano ba! Sa’n nanggaling ’yun? Hindi ako papasok sa isang bagay na ’di ko kayang panindigan. At kapag nangyari ’yan sa akin, ibo-broadcast ko ’yan!” (Should we hold our breath?)
Kris Aquino, asked about her relationship with ex-husband James Yap: “We’re on good terms, in fairness! Loving kami ni James … malaki ang na-contribute niya sa birthday party ni Bimby. Thank you so much!” (Yes, all for Bimby’s sake. As for ours, we really don’t need to know.)
Kris, asked if she’s ready to love again: “Ayoko na. I’m done with love … it’s true. My sons are enough.” (And thank heavens for that.)
Shalani Soledad on rumors that she was pregnant when she married Pasig City Rep. Roman Romulo: “Mataba lang po talaga ako! Taba po ’yun!” (Oh, goodness, she’s married. She can get pregnant whenever she wants.)
Shalani, asked about married life: “Wala pa namang major adjustments … para pa rin kaming mag-boyfriend, girlfriend. Sana ganito hanggang pagtanda namin.” (You can want this, too, and it shall be.)
Jay-R on trying to win back ex-girlfriend Krista Kleiner: “I’m working on that … Gusto ko siyang ligawan [ulit].” (But did you, really…?)
Isabelle Daza, asked if she planned to accept acting jobs: “I think I need more workshops. Ayoko naman gawin ang isang bagay na ’di ako prepared for.” (Good answer.)
Angelika de la Cruz, asked if she might enter politics: “Since madalas nga akong tumulong … at least kapag naka-pwesto ka, mas madaling makatulong sa mga tao. Pero tingnan muna natin.” (You don’t need to be in politics to make a difference.)
Derek Ramsay on being axed from a Star Cinema movie with Bea Alonzo: “I think I was the last to find out … It hurts … But I don’t think they did that to spite me kasi lumipat ako [sa TV5].” (Want to know what we think?)
Sharon Cuneta on daughter KC Concepcion: “There is a calmness about KC now na hindi ko nakita noon. In a way, kailangan siguro magpasalamat pa ’ko kay Piolo [Pascual] dahil ang daming natutunan ni KC. Pinatibay siya. ’Di ba, what doesn’t kill you makes you stronger.” (Now we really wonder what on earth Piolo did to KC. Should we open that can of worms again?)
Bea Alonzo on her onscreen partnership with John Lloyd Cruz: “Ten years na kami, but each [project] feels fresh.” (Do you hear that, Derek?)
Angelica Panganiban, asked if Piolo Pascual is difficult to work with: “Mahirap … dahil kapag wala kang self-control, mai-in love ka sa kanya! [He’s] almost perfect.” (Your boyfriend is kinda almost perfect, too. Naman!)
Aga Muhlach on wife Charlene Gonzalez: “This is my meaning of perfect—us being together, us being married.” (Hayyyyyyyyy.)
Annabelle Rama’s message to Nadia Montenegro. “Tigilan mo na ang pagsisinungaling at pag-i-imbento ng kwento na hindi maganda … Nagkamali ka na ako kalaban mo … Sabi mo makakarma ako. Ikaw ang makakarma, tandaan mo ’yan… Iba ang gaganti sa ’yo, hindi ako.” (This is getting exciting. Pass the popcorn!)
Angel Locsin on rumors that she and Phil Younghusband are marrying soon: “Kung maganda ’yung takbo ng personal life mo, maganda rin ’yung takbo ng career … Siya ang lahat sa buhay ko, ako ang lahat sa buhay niya.” (At alam natin kung gaano siya kabilis tumakbo.)
Daniel Matsunaga on ex-girlfriend Heart Evangelista: “I’m sure Heart still has feelings for me also … Of course, I love Heart.” (How presumptuous … ano ’yan, prep for a sequel?)
