Gian Sotto, wife expecting sixth child

Joy Woolbright-Sotto, wife of Quezon City Vice Mayor Gian Sotto, announced on Easter Sunday, April 12 that she is expecting their sixth child.
“16 WEEKS! So timely that as we celebrate the Resurrection of Christ, we also want to share that we are celebrating life…. a life of a new blessing!” she said on Instagram, along with a family photo with the title “Here We Grow Again.”

She said they had known she was pregnant since January and delayed the announcement due to the coronavirus disease (COVID-19) crisis.
“We’ve been wanting to share this last month, Gian’s @giansotto birthday month, but unfortunately it was when the [COVID-19] situation started and we felt that it just wasn’t the right time to share,” she explained. “We waited on God’s perfect time and TODAY felt right!”
Gian is the son of Sen. Tito Sotto and actress Helen Gamboa. Gian and his wife have been married since 2007. JB
