Andi Eigenmann focuses on healing rather than losing postpartum weight
Andi Eigenmann is not in a hurry to lose her postpartum weight, putting healing first over getting back into exercising.
Eigenmann recently gave birth to second child Keliana Aloha Eigenmann Alipayo, or Lilo, and shared a “body update” to her fans from her fresh 48 hours at the hospital.
“Sorry in advance to those who will not be pleased by this photo. I am back with my body updates! This photo was from the fresh 48 at the hospital,” Eigenmann said via Instagram on July 28. “Taken after what seems to be the best/longest shower of my life! Decided to snap a pic to show what I look like 1 day post-partum.”

According to Eigenmann, she decided to post a photo of her postpartum body since most of the comeback fitness stories she has read online are from post normal births and not much about cesarean sections.

Besides, breastfeeding is good enough exercise for now.”
Rest for Eigenmann, however, does not mean being completely immobile. “Just means we shouldn’t overdo anything,” she added. “Walking is definitely a great idea.”
Eigenmann confirmed she and surfer-boyfriend Philmar Alipayo were expecting a child last February. Prior to baby Lilo, Eigenmann gave birth to Ellie, her daughter with former partner Jake Ejercito, in 2011.
