MANILA, Philippines — It looks like National Aeronautics and Space Administration (NASA) astronauts will be jamming to the songs of Korean boy group sensation BTS when they go back to the moon five years from now.

NASA confirmed Wednesday that three BTS songs will be included in a playlist that will accompany astronauts on their long flight to the moon in 2024.

“Wow, there are a lot of @BTS_twt & RM fans! Thanks for the submissions – we’ll add ‘Moonchild,’ ‘Mikrokosmos’ & ‘134340’ to the playlist! What other songs can we include on #NASAMoonTunes?,” NASA said in a tweet.

“Mikrokosmos” is from the boy group’s latest album “Map of the Soul: Persona,” while “134340” is from their album “Love Yourself: Tear.” “Moonchild,” on the other hand, is a composition by group leader RM.

NASA announced Monday it is looking for songs to be included in its “MoonTunes” as part of its preparations for astronauts’ journey back to the moon.

“As we celebrate the 50th anniversary of Apollo 11, we’re also preparing to go back to the Moon by 2024, which means astronauts will have a non-stop journey of approximately 3 days each way – the ultimate long-distance travel,” NASA said in a previous statement.

“Just like any road trip needs a soundtrack, so does a spaceflight! If you were making the journey, what favorite song would you be sure to include on your playlist? Let us add it to ours!” it added.
