Richard Gutierrez, Sarah Lahbati live the beach life in Hawaii

Celebrity couple Richard Gutierrez and Sarah Lahbati and their family flew to Oahu, Hawaii, to celebrate eldest son Zion’s 6th birthday.
The two have been sharing photos of their trip via social media, from surfing the waves to riding horses and swimming with Galapagos and Sandbar sharks.
“Hawaii is a dream. So grateful to be here and to live each day with the fam watching the sun rise & fall,” Lahbati said via Instagram on April 28. “Decided to live in the moment and stay off social media for awhile and it’s been the best thing.”

Lahbati also shared photos of her and Zion surfing in North Shore and found the experience not that different from real life.
“ I can’t even count how many times I fell and wiped out… I feel like surfing is very much like life,” she said. “It’s being terrified and excited, falling and getting back up. We’ve found a new love…”

In another post made yesterday, April 30, Lahbati ditched the surfboards for flippers and a snorkel to swim with the sharks.
“Every year, humans kill an estimated 100 million sharks for shark fin soup and by catch,” she said. “These creatures are so beautiful and gentle compared to what is being depicted of them…”

She added that sharks are an important part of the ocean’s ecosystem. “Let’s do our part to keep them around for the future generations to come.”
Lahbati and Gutierrez also made sure to keep birthday boy Zion entertained so they went on a road trip around the island.
Gutierrez shared on his own Instagram account yesterday that Zion is obsessed with Hollywood movie “Jurassic Park” so they embarked on a road trip to get a similar vibe.
“Since Zion is obsessed with Jurassic Park we decided to do a road trip here to get that vibe,” he said. “It’s been an amazing experience exploring Hawaii with these two, Zion truly had a memorable 6th birthday.”
