Kelsey Merritt not spared from ‘tumaba ka’ comment from grandmother

MANILA, Philippines —- Kelsey Merritt was not spared from “tumaba ka” comment from her grandmother as she went home to the Philippines for the holiday season.

In an Instagram story posted on Monday, the Filipino-American model shared a photo with her grandmother captioned: “Sabi ni Lola tumaba daw ako.”

Merritt went home for the holidays last Monday then jet off to Bohol for a vacation under the sun.

She made history as the first Filipino to walk the Victoria’s Secret Fashion Show alongside big names like Gigi and Bella Hadid, Kendall Jenner and Adriana Lima.

Merritt was born in the Philippines and grew up in Pampanga. She finished her studies in Manila before moving to the United States in 2017./lb
