WATCH: Dawn Zulueta plays Beethoven’s ‘Moonlight Sonata’ in first public performance

Actress Dawn Zulueta on Tuesday shared her first public performance of Ludwig van Beethoven’s “Moonlight Sonata” via Instagram post.

“As a gift to myself before turning 50 next March, I pursued my longtime dream of learning Beethoven’s ‘Moonlight Sonata,’” Zulueta wrote in the caption.

The actress shared how she began playing the piano by ear last year, adding “I don’t know how to read musical notes & never had formal lessons before.”

She described her performance as “far from perfect,” but expressed how happy she was for having the “privilege of playing for a cozy crowd.”

Zulueta also gave a special mention to her teacher, Malou Parma, “for encouraging in me & believing in me.”
