Camila Cabello now OK with other Fifth Harmony girls
Two years after her controversial exit from the pop group Fifth Harmony, singer Camila Cabello said she feels that things between her and the rest of the girls—Lauren Jauregui, Normani Kordei, Dinah Jane Hansen and Ally Brooke—“are all good now.”
In an interview with Marie Claire, Camila recalled bumping into Normani at the Billboard Music Awards earlier this year and exchanging a few words.
“We mutually came up to each other. I told her, ‘I just want you to know, I hope we can all move on from everything. I’m genuinely happy for the other girls, and I hope you tell them I wish you the best.’ And she was like, ‘I’m so proud of you,’” related Camila, whose solo career gained traction after her song “Havana” became a worldwide hit.
“It felt like everything is totally fine,” added the pop star, who also gave Normani words of encouragement as the latter embarks on a solo career. “I was like, ‘By next year, you’ll be totally fine. You’re killing it. I’m so happy for you. I’m excited to see what you do with your music,’” she said. —ALLAN POLICARPIO
