Selena finally breaks silence about Demi’s relapse
Selena Gomez has finally broken her silence about her close friend Demi Lovato’s drug relapse and recent overdose.
“All I’m saying is that I reached out personally. I didn’t do a public thing. I didn’t want to. I love her… I have known her since I was 7,” the pop star said of her fellow Disney star in an interview with US Elle Magazine.
Demi is reportedly undergoing treatment at a rehabilitation facility.
‘Peaceful’
Meanwhile, the 26-year-old pop star also talked about how her life has been so far, after undergoing kidney transplant last year.
“It’s peaceful. It’s weird… Right now, I feel very sure of where I am. I don’t feel erratic or emotionally unstable… I’m understanding myself a little more. By all means, I don’t have myself figured out. But it feels good,” said Selena, who’s working on a new album.
