Vina Morales admits there’s a ‘much younger’ actor trying to woo her

The singer/actress has admitted that indeed there’s a “much younger” actor trying to win her heart despite the age difference.
Morales revealed her latest suitor during the recent pocket press conference marking the 20th anniversary of her successful salon business, “Ystilo Salon.”
“Patext-text, much younger,” she said.
She however said that if she were to choose, she’d rather stay away from entertaining suitors who are much younger and all the more, someone who comes from showbiz as well. She adds that having experienced being with someone in the business before, she knows that it’s hard to keep a strong relationship knowing the pressing temptations and realities of being in showbiz.
“Kaibigan lang talaga for me, hangga’t maiiwasan ko, iiwasan ko lalo nap ag artista kasi siyempre dumaan na ako diyan (nagkaroon ng boyfriend na showbiz). Para sa akin kasi kung gusto ko ng seryoso tapos younger pa, artista? Siyempre ang daming temptation niyan, e, dumaan ako sa ganyang times na during taping days, you’re always together, made-develop ka mga ganyan, so pero mababait naman talaga sila,” she said.
Now more than ever, she’s more careful in her love affairs now more than ever as she has much to consider.
“Siguro for me, baka lang type nila ako kasi trip lang nila, you know? So, I’m really careful kaya mas gusto ko ang hindi showbiz. A little bit younger medyo okay lang sa akin, pero ‘yung sobrang malaki ang agwat (shook her head),” she said.
Business success
Aside from her still booming career, she also has accomplished much in terms of business. Her salon franchise Ystilo Salon is now celebrating its twentieth anniversary and Morales could not be any happier.
Since it started in 1998, it has now into progressed to 20 branches all over the country.
The Ystilo Salon line is owned by Morales with her sisters Sheila, Sheryl and Shaina Magdayao.
Even though she has tapings, she said she spends her free days visiting the salon’s branches.
She is also thankful that most of her original salon staff have remained with her.
“Sila (pointing to her staff), matatagal na sila, ako naman siyempre ako yung front ako yung sa marketing so it really helps a lot lalo na si Shaina nandiyan din. Pero mas hands on sina ate Sheila kasi sila talaga ‘yung behind to all of these,” she said.
Since then, it has been a culture of Ystilo Salon to give discounts to their clients whenever they celebrate their anniversary. For this year, their promos include a 30 percent discount on hair color and rebond standard and premium services (September 8-Oct 30); 50 percent on hair color and rebond standard services (Sept 18,19 at 20) and a 20 percent off on hair treatments (Sept 8-Nov 30).
