Sam Milby expresses shock at ex Mari Jasmine’s new relationship: ‘There were no signs’

Kapamilya actor Sam Milby said that just like everyone else, he was shocked upon knowing that his ex-girlfriend Mari Jasmine is now in a relationship with “Baka Bukas” director Samantha Lee because for him, “there were no signs.”
“I don’t really want to say too much I knew a while before pero nung kami, no signs. I didn’t know she was open for that kind of relationship. I had no idea,” he said at a recent press conference for his upcoming television series “Halik” with Jericho Rosales, Yen Santos and Yam Laranas.
“I was very surprised. I didn’t expect and there were no signs nung nalaman ko,” he continued.
However, he assured that there was never an overlapping of relationship back when they were still together. Moreover, he clarified that Lee was never the cause of their break-up.
“From my understanding, this is the first time she’s experienced with a woman so but walang overlapping there was no third party kaya kami nag-break no it’s not like that. We were broken up.”
“We’re okay, we’re friends. If that’s where she’s happy then I’m happy for her. There was no bitterness in that sense kasi nga there was no overlapping,” he added.
He however stated that even without a romantic relationship at this point, he is very happy, blessed and in a good place.
It was around March of this year when Milby admitted their break-up on “Tonight With Boy Abunda.” Fast forward to a few months later, Jasmine, through an Instagram post revealed that she is now in a relationship with Lee. /muf
