Miley Cyrus became a wrecking ball once more after she deleted all of her Instagram photos with no announced reason whatsoever, leaving her fans wondering.

Aside from removing her Instagram posts in her page @mileycyrus, the 25-year-old singer also changed her Instagram icon to a plain black photo. As for her Twitter page, while Cyrus did not delete her Tweets, she also used a black photo to change her Twitter icon.

Fans have different theories regarding the reason behind the singer’s actions. Some fans are saying that Cyrus’ “blackout” may be due to the singer releasing a new album soon: that the “blackout” is just a promotional strategy.

One fan, MC (@nikkiib0w), pointed out the possibility that Cyrus is following Taylor Swift’s PR team’s footsteps. Before releasing her “Reputation” album in November 2017, Swift deleted her Instagram posts as well as the posts she made on Facebook and Twitter. She also deleted all her icons in the said social media platforms.

It is worth noting, however, that Swift unfollowed all her Instagram followers which Cyrus has yet to do, as of this writing.

Another Twitter account, Music News Facts (@musicnewsfact), highlighted the fact that the producers for Cyrus’ former albums have used a black header photo for their Twitter accounts. The mentioned producers include Mike Will Made It, who executive-produced Cyrus’ 2013 album “Bangerz”, and Oren Yael who produced four songs on Cyrus’ 2015 album “Miley Cyrus & Her Dead Petz” as well as her 2017 single “Malibu”.

While most fans seem to agree that Cyrus’ “blackout” may be because of an upcoming album, other fans think her relationship with fiancé Liam Hemsworth may have been the reason.

One fan account, Miley is Coming (@rashodcyrus), said that Cyrus may be tying the knot soon with Hemsworth.

Another fan, @youngerscyrus, thinks there must be a rift between the couple as Hemsworth hasn’t uploaded on his Instagram account for two months while Cyrus deleted all her posts including her photos with her fiancé.

Miley Cyrus has yet to comment or issue an official statement on the matter, as of this writing. JB
