“Yes (I believe so) sobra, dapat mag-isa ka lang. Wala rin kung mag-ta-travel ka tapos may kasama ka, ‘di ka rin makaka-focus. So dapat ikaw lang mag-isa para mas mag-focus ka sa sarili mo at ‘dun sa lugar, mas ma-explore mo ‘yung lugar,” she said at the recent media launch of her upcoming travel-romance movie, “Mr. & Mrs. Cruz.”

(Yes I believe so, you should travel alone. Traveling is of no use if you’re with people around, you won’t be able to focus. You should be alone so you can focus on yourself and the place you will explore the place better)

She said that in love, something has to be left for oneself and being self-destructive is a definite no-no in dealing with pain.

“Dapat mas mahalin mo ‘yung sarili mo, ‘di kasi ako umiinom. More on ano ako eh, hike, ganyan. Outdoorsy type ako eh, wall climbing,” she said.

This is why the actress is confident people will take in her upcoming movie “Mr. & Mrs. Cruz” positively not only because of its scenic cinematography but moreover, because of its compelling story.

Shot in an island that usually tops the heart-broken’s list of soul searching go-to’s, El Nido, Palawan adds to the appeal of the movie giving peace and calm to the eyes, mind and heart.

Cenon also promised one thing viewers could get after watching the movie–the closure.

“Lahat makaka-relate dito. (You will find) Closure, closure sa sarili mo, masasagot ‘yung mga questions mo sa sarili mo na kaya ka nag-so-soul searching ay hinahanap mo,” she said.

(Everyone can relate to the movie. You will find closure, closure within yourself, you will find answers to your questions, the very reason you went soul-searching)

She said her love life is in bliss as she is in a relationship with actor Cholo Barretto.
