WATCH: Jimmy Fallon, Maroon 5 jam in New York subway while in disguise

Riders of the busy New York City subway were in for a treat when television host Jimmy Fallon and Maroon 5 members Adam Levine and James Valentine had a surprise jamming session.

As documented in a “The Tonight Show” clip, the trio sported fake beards, wigs and hats for the gig.

They first did a rendition of Queen’s “Crazy Little Thing Called Love”. As their first song ended, and after slowly getting the attention of the crowd, they took off their disguises and tuned up for the Maroon 5 hit, “Sugar”.

With some audience members recording the performance, Fallon and Levine encouraged the subway riders to belt their hearts out, making the moment a little bit more memorable.

Fallon regularly does similar surprise performances in his show, with previous ones accompanied by Miley Cyrus and the legendary Irish rock band U2. JB
