Linkin Park to release live album dedicated to Bennington
United States rock band Linkin Park has announced plans to release a live album next month in honor of late lead singer Chester Bennington, who died earlier this year.
The album, “One More Light Live”, will include 16 songs performed during the band’s One More Light World Tour, including “Crawling, Dumb” “What I’ve Done” and “Heavy”.
That tour followed the release of the album of the same name. In a message annoucing the upcoming album, the band wrote, “We dedicate this live album to our brother Chester who poured his heart and soul into ‘One More Light’.”
“The shows we played together during the early summer of 2017 were extraordinary. Chester shared with us that he felt this was the best tour we had ever done. The camaraderie and joy we experienced on stage reflected our deep connection with each other, with our fans, and with the music,” the message continues.
“One More Light Live” will be released on December 15 and is now available for pre-order, which will grant access to an instant download of “Crawling” from the album. JB
