In Rolling Stone’s latest cover story on Kesha, the pop singer revealed that, in 2016, Taylor Swift donated $250,000 to help cover expenses related to her longstanding legal tussle with music producer Dr. Luke, and her record label, Sony.

“She’s a f**king sweetheart. Very, very sweet, very, very genuine, extremely generous,” said the 30-year-old singer who, in 2014, filed charges against Dr. Luke—or Lukasz Sebastian Gottwald
—for abusing her “sexually, physically, verbally and emotionally.”

And it seems that Kesha and Taylor have been keeping an open line of communication. “She picks up the phone every time I call her. My mom doesn’t even always pick up the phone!” quipped Kesha.—ALLAN POLICARPIO
