WATCH: Selena Gomez premieres 1970s-set ‘Bad Liar’ video
Selena Gomez has released a video for her single “Bad Liar” in which she appears as four interrelated characters.
The campy video opens with Gomez riding a bike down a mountain road as the teenage, bell-bottomed main character on her way to school. Fashions of the 1970s are front and center as she walks through the halls of her school.
While sitting in chemistry lab, the teenager spies her Farrah Fawcett-esque basketball coach and her father, apparently a teacher at the school, both played by Gomez, flirting outside.
She later comes home to find her lascivious father and her mother, also played by Gomez, sharing a tense dinner, before seeking refuge in her bedroom, where we learn that she, too, is harboring feelings for her basketball coach. JB
