Lindsay Lohan lands role in Rupert Grint’s TV show

Lindsay Lohan is returning to the small screen.

The 30-year-old former child star joins the second season of the British series “Sick Note,” which is led by “Harry Potter” alumnus Rupert Grint. In the series, Grint portrays Daniel Glass, an employee who was wrongfully diagnosed with a fatal ailment by a questionable doctor (played by Nick Frost).

According to The Hollywood Reporter, Lohan will play the role of Katerina West, the daughter of Grint’s on-screen boss (played by Don Johnson).

“Jokes with Rupert Grint and Nick Frost on [the] set of my new show Sick Note,” Lohan captioned a sneak peek at her newest gig on Twitter.

This is Lohan’s first acting stint since her cameo in the sitcom “Two Broke Girls” in 2014. Today, she devotes her time helping Syrian refugees in Turkey and managing her nightclub in Greece.

She reportedly converted to Islam after she changed her Instagram description to “Alaikum Salam (Peace be unto you)” and was photographed wearing a headscarf.  Gianna Francesca Catolico /ra
