Television hosts Robi Domingo and Gretchen Ho have announced their breakup after rumors started circulating in January.

In a joint statement released through ABS-CBN’s “Tonight with Boy Abunda,” Domingo and Ho cited their respective careers as the reason for the split and said there was no third party.

“There is too much happening for the both of us right now, we have to focus on our careers. There is no appropriate time yet for a relationship to grow,” the statement read.

“But we’re not closing our doors on each other in the future. There’s no third party,” it added.

Last week, Ho said she would soon clarify the reason for their then rumored breakup amid speculations that Domingo was supposedly pursuing K-Pop star Sandara Park.
