LOOK: Maxene Magalona gets engaged to BF on Valentine’s Day

Maxene Magalona won’t surely forget the time she answered “Yes!” on Valentine’s Day in Japan.

In a series of romantic Instagram posts on Tuesday, the actress-host revealed her engagement with boyfriend Robby Mananquil while vacationing in Tokyo. “Roses are red, violets are blue, I can’t wait to spend the rest of my life with you,” she captioned her snaps.

Mananquil, the lead vocalist for rock band Pulso, also posted the same pictures on his Instagram page with the words “I love you.”

Back in 2015, the pair announced that they were officially together.

In a previous interview with ABS-CBN, Magalona admitted that she was infatuated with Mananquil while jamming in a gig where her sister Saab also performed.

“He randomly messaged me online and there, I mean things started. We really connected,” she added.

Magalona, who recently starred in the ABS-CBN drama series “Doble Kara,” is the second among the children of the late Francis M to get engaged. Saab Magalona married fellow bandmate Jim Bacarro in January 2015.  Gianna Francesca Catolico / RA
