As the Hwarang’s second assignment, chief Hwarang We Hwa required the members to perform during the Thanksgiving festival of Silla.

Ban Ryu expressed his opposition to the idea, thinking that they had to do this for the queen – something Ban Ryu hated the most.

“I am not telling you to perform for the Queen, but to present the people with dance and music, so that they can enjoy and be happy,” said the chief.

Chief Hwarang We Hwa reminded them that they are in the presence of Master Woo Reuk – well known as the “Master of Instruments.”

Much to Sunwoo’s discontent, Woo Reuk was his former tax collector who constantly harassed him before they climbed over the wall to get into the capital.

In an earlier interview, it was revealed that Choi Minho (Soo Ho) was the one who choreographed the performance.
