I always tell him to just let it slide, but I guess there were times when he couldn’t help it because the comments were really below the belt. To be fair to him, this doesn’t happen often. I’m fortunate to have people around me who protect me from bashers. I no longer feel affected by the negative comments. To dwell on them is just a waste of energy.
