For Khalil, Nothing like Christmas in PH
My most memorable Christmas happened three years ago—one of the rare times my family was complete. A lot of our relatives are now based abroad, mostly in the United States, so we can’t come together as often as we like.
My family on my mom’s side is big, because she has nine siblings. It was a big celebration. We prefer to do it here in the Philippines, kasi iba pa rin ang saya dito. I’m hesitant to spend Christmas abroad, because I know I’d be missing a lot.
I hope this coming Christmas would be just as good. I feel blessed to be surrounded by people dear to me. I feel happy and light, like I don’t have to worry about anything.—ALLAN POLICARPIO
