CHRISTMAS MEMORIES: Alfred Vargas

What is your most memorable holiday season? How do you intend to celebrate Christmas this year?

My happiest Christmas was when the whole family was able to spend it together with my mother (Susana) when she was still alive. (She passed away after a valiant battle with cancer of the uterus two years ago.) It was a simple noche buena. Nothing fancy, but that night, everybody felt the importance of love, family and time spent together. That was our mom’s last Christmas with us. I plan to spend this Christmas season with my wife, Yasmine, and two daughters, Alexandra and Aryana.—BAYANI SAN DIEGO JR.
