BB Gandanghari now legally a woman in US
BB Gandanghari is now officially a woman after her petition to change her name and gender was approved by a California court.
Gandanghari made announcement through an Instagram post.
“This is it! And I thought this day would never come. And I thank my GOD and my LORD for making these things happen. Everything makes sense now… and to this great country the United States of America for providing this #basicrhumanright… Thank you!!! #officiallyBBlegallyGandanghari,” she wrote in the caption of a photo of the Orange County Courthouse.
In August, Gandanghari formally filed a petition to change her name and gender before the Superior Court of California in the United States.
Gandanghari, who used to be actor Rustom Padilla, first admitted her sexual preference in 2006 during her stint at the reality program “Pinoy Big Brother.” YG
