Bryan Adams, the Canadian singer-songwriter famous for his anthemic pop tunes and rock love ballads, will return to Manila—after more than two decades—to hold a concert at the Smart Araneta Coliseum on Jan. 18, 2017 (call 911-5555).

The one-night show, mounted by Wilbros Live, is part of Adams’ “Get Up” world tour, which was launched in support of his latest album of the same title.

An icon of the 1980s, the decorated, 56-year-old musician and photographer has sold more than 100 million records worldwide in his career spanning over 30 years. The raspy-voiced vocalist is behind such classics as “Heaven,” “(Everything I Do) I Do It For You” and “Have You Ever Really Loved a Woman.” —ALLAN POLICARPIO
