WATCH: Miley Cyrus fills in for sick Ellen DeGeneres

For the second time in 13 years, Ellen DeGeneres felt under the weather and had someone substitute her as host of her daily show, “Ellen.” Hence, one pop star “twerked” in DeGeneres’ behalf during Wednesday’s episode.

It was none other than “Hand of Love” songstress Miley Cyrus, who bantered to the show’s giggling audience that she “kissed a girl” as preparation for her hosting stint.

“I’m dressed like her, I smell like her, [and] just before I came out here I actually kissed a girl, she opened her monologue. “I’ve never hosted a show with my clothes on, this is so weird.”

She further said, “Don’t worry you guys, Ellen will be fine, but she just isn’t feeling well so she’s asked me to fill in and of course, I said yes for my girl Ellen. And I gave her a bunch of Molly to make her feel better. It’s working.”

During her hosting, she interviewed “Sex and the City” actress Sarah Jessica Parker about her upcoming HBO show, “Divorce,” and soon after, played with Parker for a “Five Second Rule” game. Her second guest was Idina Menzel, who confirmed reports that the Disney film “Frozen” will have a sequel, and Elsa “might be an LGBT member.” Cyrus, who was also an alumnus of the network, also agreed with Menzel’s idea that she was a “servant of Disney.”

DeGeneres, 58, thanked Cyrus, 23, for a job well done. “The bad news is I’m sick and can’t tape my show today. The good news is Miley Cyrus dropped everything to host for me. Thanks, Miley!” Cyrus replied with a silly snap of her hosting gig.
