Ozzy Osbourne in therapy for sex addiction
LOS ANGELES, United States — Metal legend Ozzy Osbourne revealed Wednesday that he has been undergoing therapy for sex addiction as he tries to reconcile with his wife.
The Black Sabbath singer, whose instantly recognizable voice has driven songs from “Iron Man” to “Crazy Train,” went public about the treatment after a hair colorist revealed she was one of his mistresses.
“Over the last six years, I have been dealing with a sex addiction,” the 67-year-old English rocker wrote on Facebook.
“Out of bad comes good. Since the press exposed this I have gone into intense therapy,” he wrote.
“I am mortified at what my behavior has done to my family. I thank God that my incredible wife is at my side to support me.”

She revealed in May that the two had separated but the couple — one of the most enduring in the rock world — later voiced hope for reconciliation.
Michelle Pugh, a celebrity hair colorist in the Osbournes’ adopted hometown of Los Angeles, told People magazine that the rocker pursued her a year after he first went to her for his hair in late 2011.
She described the rocker as “the greatest love of my life.”
Osbourne wrote on Facebook: “I’m sorry if Ms. Pugh took our sexual relationship out of context.
“I’d also like to apologize to the other women I have been having sexual relationships with,” he said without further detail.
Osbourne struggled for years with drug and alcohol problems and was notorious for his on-stage antics such as biting the head off a bat.
The Osbournes’ seemingly stable marital life in Los Angeles became the topic of public fascination in the early 2000s after it was featured on an MTV reality television show.
