WATCH: ‘Kingsglaive: Final Fantasy XV’ international trailer
The international trailer for “Kingsglaive: Final Fantasy XV,” a film based on Square Enix’s popular Japanese RPG, has been released and will be shown in Philippine cinema houses soon. This is the first franchise dubbed in English to cater to the millions of non-Japanese viewers and avid Final Fantasy fans.
The thrilling plot involves the struggles of the Lucis kingdom to defend a magical crystal from invading Niflheim empire.
“Breaking Bad” actor Aaron Paul stars as Nyx Ulric, a royal guard from Kingsglaive, an elite group mandated to safeguard the kingdom from Niflheim. Lena Headey, a “Game of Thrones” cast member, voices the lady oracle Lunafreya Nox Fleuret. Another “Game of Thrones” star, Sean Bean, plays King Regis, the father of the game’s leading star Noctis.
The original voice actors of the film are Go Ayano as Nyx, Tsutomu Isobe as King Regis, and Shiori Kutsuna as Lunafreya. “Kingsglaive: Final Fantasy XV” was developed and animated by Visual Works and Square Enix.
