According to The Guardian and Hollywood Reporter, “Transformers” director Michael Bay, who lighted up the careers of Megan Fox, Jack Reynor and Shia LaBeouf, will cast Freya in the film’s franchise after reading about her on social media. There is no specific role yet for Freya.
The welcome news popped out after British news site Mirror called Freya “Britain’s loneliest dog.” She had been rejected and passed over by previous owners for six years. She has resided in an animal shelter in Liverpool, UK, for six months and was overlooked by 18,720 visitors.
Bay announced the news on social media site Twitter.
