Rock band Kamikazee admits to being “humbled” by fan reaction after thousands snapped up tickets for its farewell show, “Huling Sayaw,” at the 15,000-capacity Smart Araneta Coliseum on Dec. 10. Over 1,000 tickets were sold minutes after they went on sale.

Lead singer Jay Contreras admits that members of the band are excited to play for their followers for the last time.

Jay says, “We’ve been around for 15 years. Kamikazee isn’t just me, Jomal, Led, Bordes and Puto—our fans are a big part of us because they’ve watched us ‘grow’ and helped us get to where we are today! We’re stepping away from the music industry to concentrate on other interests and spend time with our families. The concert allows us to say thank you.”
