K-POP fans trooped to a restaurant in Makati last Wednesday to welcome the newest singing sensations from South Korea, FameUs and Asha.

The fans were treated to a mini-concert, with members of the two groups singing K-Pop and OPM (Original Pilipino Music) songs as well.
The K-Pop stars gave Renee “Alon” de la Rosa’s “Pusong Bato” a fresh spin which, according to the fans, was better than the original.
Asked to name local vacation spots they would like to visit, the boys of FameUs singled out Boracay, while the girls of Asha said they wanted to see local zoos.
The boys described Boracay as “beautiful.”
The K-Pop performers were asked if they’ve heard of AlDub, the popular tandem of Alden Richards and Maine “Yaya Dub” Mendoza in the noontime show “Eat Bulaga.”
Sadly, the foreign artists, especially the boys, were not hooked on the AlDub phenomenon.
FameUs and Asha will go onstage on Friday, 8 p.m., at the Ynares Sports Arena in Pasig.
They will be in Cebu on Oct. 3 and in Davao from Oct. 9-11.
