WATCH: Ex-‘Showtime’ champs wow X-Factor UK
A FILIPINO girl band drew a standing ovation in their audition on British talent television show X-Factor at the Wembley Arena in London.
The group called Fourth Power, composed of sisters Almira, Celena, Mylene and Irene, is known as Gollayan sisters in the Philippines. They performed a rendition of Jessie J, Ariana Grande and Nicki Minaj hit “Bang Bang” to the applause from the audience.
“You just absolutely took Wembley’s roof off. It’s funny, you came on so demure. The music kicks in, voila, you all turn into little bad girls up there. It blew me,” said Cheryl Fernandez-Versini, one of the judges.
“I want to be their sister,” Rita Ora said.
“What just happened? This is gonna blow up. This audition just has changed your lives,” said Nick Grimshaw.

The group has appeared on TV shows in the Philippines such as Pinoy Idol and Showtime. They also have reached final rounds of Superstar K6, South Korea’s biggest TV talent show, last year under the name M.I.C.A.
Before their performance, the group said in a pre-recorded video that they have been singing since 2001.
“We love X-Factor UK…Our ultimate dream is to perform in front of Simon Cowell…We want to make our parents proud especially mom who’s always with us,” they said.
As shown in the video, their mother also joined them in London for the auditions. Frances Mangosing INQUIRER.net
