Billy Joel, wife Alexis announce birth of daughter

NEW YORK CITY— Billy Joel and wife Alexis Roderick are the parents of a baby girl.

A representative for the 66-year-old singer confirmed that Della Rose was born early Wednesday morning in New York. The couple married during a surprise ceremony on July 4 at Joel’s home on Long Island.
