Van Gogh once said, “Great things are done by a series of small things put together.” Atty. Joy Rojas, vice chair of the Philippine Charity Sweepstakes Office, is presenting his trademark horseshoes on small canvases at the “Petit Fours” on Dec. 2 at Galerie Francesca in Megamall (call 570-9495, or e-mail galeriefrancisca.mega@ gmail.com), along with other visual artists who rise to the challenge of creating smaller works.

The lineup includes artworks by Carlo Magno, Karina Baluyut, Ross Capili, Salvador Ching, Robert Deniega, Roel Obemio, Herbert Pajarito, Eman Santos, Pinggot Zulueta and Joy Rojas.

The exhibition includes works from several renowned painters. Magno, for instance, needs no introduction. With over four decades of experience in the art scene, Carlo’s oeuvre reveals an intelligent mind that is ready to experiment.
