Deceitful endorser caught red-handed
Backstage at a glitzy event, Glamorous Endorser, hired as pitch person for a new gizmo, grew impatient.
GE started tinkering with another device, not the brand she endorses.
As luck would have it, Big Boss (of the company that just hired her) walked by and caught GE using the rival product.
Quick-thinking GE passed the incriminating evidence to an assistant, exclaiming: “Yaya, here’s your (name of gadget).”
Nanny thought it was her lucky day!
But when BB turned his back, GE took the thingamajig back and resumed her business. How’s that for credibility?

Difficult Star is a nightmare to work with, often tardy and/or moody.
Coworkers have complained to the bosses about this.
Now, there is talk that DS’ character in a high-profile project will soon be “killed,” though the part is, granted, pivotal.
No one is indispensable in the biz.
Blabbing away
Noisy Personality blabbed away between takes and, at one point, carelessly remarked, “Our director looks poor.”
Overhearing that, a staffer told NP, “The director owns the company that produced this project.”
Unremorseful, NP snapped back, “Well, he still looks poor.”
NP is never ever wrong. Just ask all those past lovers who had the temerity to flee.
Blocked
Industry Insider is quarreling with Senior Celeb. Turns out, II often knocks on the door of Wealthy Personality, who routinely hands out cash to friends.
SC, however, gets in the way, making sure that II doesn’t get face time with WP.
At this point, II can’t compete with SC. WP’s current flame is related to SC.
Well, II can get even with SC by finding a new partner for WP!
Busted!
From the Inquirer tabloid Bandera.
Seasoned Vixen often hangs out in a neighborhood precinct.
No, she’s not visiting a jailbird. A mole says SV is the regular guest of a crooked insider, who is also a drug peddler.
SV doesn’t really have money for this expensive vice. Our source insists that she pays not in cash but … that’s right.
Top of the Talk Shows
For those who missed this week’s TV gabfests (and why we are moved, if we are moved):
Lolit Solis, asked if she was surprised when Kris Aquino revealed she (Kris) was heartbroken: “Kailan ba nagtagumpay sa pag-ibig si Kris? Ang kailangan niya na lang ngayon ay bumili ng … makakasama niya na puwede niyang bayaran nang bayaran para ’di siya hiwalayan!” (We’re leaving it at that.)
Sarah Lahbati on why she didn’t reveal right away that she was pregnant with Baby Zion: “We chose to protect the baby first.” (Good call.)
(Belated Father’s Day greetings!)
Richard, asked if he has learned to change diapers: “Pinagdaanan ko ’yun—magpatulog, magpa-burp, magpalit ng diapers, magtimpla ng gatas … ikinagulat ko rin na nagawa ko ’yun.” (You never know what you can do till you have to do it.)
Richard on how fatherhood has changed him: “It got me thinking straight. I spend more time at home.” (That’s what it does.)
Mark Herras on being a father: “Mas nagpakatino ako sa trabaho at mga pananaw sa buhay.” (See?)
Mark, asked who of his seven ex-girlfriends smelled the best: “Lahat sila mabango, pero si Jennylyn Mercado … mahilig kami pareho sa pabango … ’Di ko naman sinasabi na mabaho ’yung iba!” (Too much information.)
Marian Rivera, asked about the possibility of having a baby before marriage: “Mas gusto ko ikasal muna … pero kung ibibigay muna ng Diyos ang baby, why not?” (Hmm, provocative answer.)
Marian, asked why she and Heart Evangelista never got close: “Ipagdarasal ko na lang na sana, balang araw, maging mas maayos ang lahat … pero hanggang doon na lang po. OK na ako.” (Hmm ulit.)
Heart, asked if she’s expecting Sen. Chiz Escudero to propose marriage to her during their vacation in Paris: “We’ll be there to enjoy ourselves. Sabi ko bigyan niya ako ng heads up … but I don’t think so.” (“To enjoy” sounds good enough.)
Sarah Geronimo on photos online showing her and Matteo Guidicelli on double dates with Ryan Agoncillo and Judy Ann Santos: “Proud naman kasi kami talaga. Happy naman tayo.” (Hard to say “Happy ako”?)
Sarah on Mommy Divine knowing about her dates: “Thankful ako sa mga magulang ko sa lahat ng nangyayari. Although, ’di perpekto, ang importante maging thankful sa kung ano’ng meron.” (Intriguing.)
Sarah, asked if she’s open to working with Matteo onscreen: “Parang hindi kasi ayoko na ma-tag kami na love team. Personal na buhay namin ’to.” (Fine.)
Bea Alonzo, asked if she sees herself marrying Zanjoe Marudo: “Eventually, but not now.” (Bakit walang gustong magpasakal?)
Paulo Avelino on the real score between him and KC Concepcion: “Hindi pa talaga nagte-take off, but it’s not over.” (Grounded from the start? Move on na.)
Atty. King Rodrigo on seeing Boots Anson-Roa walk down the aisle:“Napanganga na lang ako sa ganda.” (At napa-smile kami. Cheers!)
Boots on what she felt after tying the knot with Attorney King: “Parang chop suey, fruit salad, halo-halo … kaba at nerbiyos.” (Ang cute n’yo!)
Dina Bonnevie on Pauleen Luna’s relationship with Vic Sotto: “She has to deal with everyone—Danica, Oyo—that’s not an easy task. And the mere fact na andiyan siya must mean something.” (Yes, it does, huh?)
Dina on Pauleen and Pia Guanio, Vic’s ex, both being in “Eat Bulaga!”: “Can you imagine? Parang ang hirap. Sa loob ko, why didn’t one of them resign? Ano ba!” (Trabaho lang.)
Ruffa Gutierrez on her rumored French-Israeli boyfriend: “I’m very happy and thankful … Kung kailan ka very busy saka naman dumadating ang love.” (Uh, count your blessings?)
Melai Cantiveros, asked about breast-feeding: “Ito ang pampatulog niya. ’Yung bottle naman ang pambusog.” (Ah.)
Melai, asked how she puts husband Jason Francisco to sleep: “Ito rin, breast-feeding! Naku, baka ma-MTRCB tayo.” (Hey, whatever works.)
