Jessica Soho shines in ‘State of the Nation’
Luis Sedillo, televiewer: “I make it a habit to watch Jessica Soho’s ‘State of the Nation’ newscast. I like the way she delivers the news naturally, compared to other news readers’ mannered vocal affectations. She asks appropriate follow-up questions without being redundant. Also, she doesn’t sound arrogant in her comments on pressing issues.”
Other notes:
Fely Inquig, housewife: “How could Kim Chiu’s character on ‘Ikaw Lamang’ expose her infant child to the possibility of a car explosion? Possible answer: When the series’ scriptwriters have low IQ—or are ‘low batt.’”
Cynthia Rezada, nursing student: “After watching replays of ‘The Legal Wife,’ I realized that Maja Salvador delivers her lines better than Angel Locsin does. Angel’s character was in the US for three years, but this has not made her English pronunciation better. She still sounds awkward.”

Josef de Guzman, PsorPhil: “One of the reasons why Filipinos with psoriasis are luckier than sufferers from other parts of the globe is Psoriasis Philippines’ spokesperson, Paolo Bediones, who shouts to the whole world that Psoriasis isn’t contagious. This should help in easing the stigma of psoriasis on people who have it. Many thanks, Paolo!”
Meann Mijares, events planner: “I wish high ratings for the teleserye, ‘Niño,’ because it teaches good values and empowers viewers to do and be good.”
