Leo Valdez, a friend who’s always there

LEO VALDEZ

Every Valentine season, the first friend who crosses my mind is Leo Valdez. I will never forget that he went out of his way in February 2012 to cheer me up when I was going through a crisis. He’s always been in my corner. I need never holler; he’s there. That’s why I always tease him to add an O and an E to his initials. Leo Valdez is “LoVe.”

All that love will definitely emerge when he performs with Kuh Ledesma in “The King and the Diva” on Feb. 14, 8 p.m., at the Newport Performing Arts Theater of Resorts World Manila. They vow to fill the venue with their iconic wit, class, sophistication and style.
