Echo wins in Newport Beach fest

JERICHO Rosales won an award, Special Achievement in Filmmaking-Acting, at the Newport Beach Film Festival for his work in Francis de la Torre’s “Subject: I Love You,” on Friday. Rosales’ manager Angeli Pangilinan said the film’s successful premiere was attended by Rosales and co-stars Briana Evigan, Kristine Bauer and Dante Basco. Apl.de.ap and Gary Valenciano, who appeared in the film, also graced the California screenings.
