EUGENE Domingo and Carlos Dala in “Ang Babae sa Septic Tank”

This year’s Cinemalaya best picture winners, Jeffrey Jeturian’s “Bisperas” (Directors’ Showcase) and Marlon Rivera’s “Ang Babae sa Septic Tank” (New Breed) have been invited to the 24th Tokyo International Film Festival, to be held in Japan from October 22 to 30 . The two indies will be shown in the Wind of Asia-Middle East section. Also making a return engagement in Tokyo are two past Cinemalaya winners, Sheron Dayoc’s “Halaw” and Jobin Ballesteros’ “Colorum.” Bayani San Diego Jr.
