Father-son bonding

In a secluded health resort in Batangas, Inquirer ran into Robin Padilla and his son Ahmad Ali.

Born Robinhood Sicangco, Ali is vacationing with his father while on school break from Australia, where he lives with his mother Liezl.

The 13-year-old has expressed his desire to be a boxer like his namesake idol. So the doting dad took him on a weekend to The Farm at San Benito to get him started, by teaching the boy to care for his health and diet.

Photo shows their choice of healthy drinks: Buko juice for Robin and watermelon juice for Ali.

Robin tells Ali “to treat boxing strictly as a sport; you don’t have [to] hate your opponent.”
