It had to happen sooner or later. Talk in cyberspace links Famous Heartthrob with Handsome Neophyte. HN and FH have been reckless, to boot, often caught in incriminating snapshots.
Defenders insist the two are just devoted friends secure in their masculinity. Alas, others stubbornly choose to see a budding bromance between the two second-generation stars, scions of macho men.
Sure beats “My Husband’s Lover.”
Take two
Obsessive Host was in the middle of an exclusive interview with Distraught Guest.
It was a tearjerker. DG was weeping buckets when OH suddenly hollered, “Cut!” And only because OH caught a glimpse of the monitor and didn’t like the way they were lit.
OH hastily stood up from his chair and gave detailed instructions to the lights technician. Then, happy at last, OH walked back to the set and asked DG to “please cry again.”
But DG had run out of tears.
Opposite of success
A mole volunteered that Top Project 1 had dislodged Top Project 2 in the race for commercial supremacy.
Drumbeaters, however, were stopped from bringing out the bubbly and celebrating TP1’s triumph. In the past, the team was quick to herald every milestone big or small, real or imagined. This time, the good news was swept under the rug.
A spy said the bosses didn’t want to risk irking the stars of TP2, particularly Spoiled Celeb and Volatile Cash Cow.
Cash counter
Heard on the Radyo Inquirer program “Kliq Showbiz” (dzIQ 990 AM, Monday to Friday, 3 to 5 p.m.):
Success has gotten into the head of Popular Teener and Notorious Parent.
Former friends say NP has become overbearing and would often brag about newly acquired wealth, the result of PT’s hard work.
NP was once heard saying, “I don’t have time to take phone calls; I’m too busy counting money.”
Perhaps NP, a failed wannabe, is reliving lost glory. Then again, NP never achieved the heights of fame that PT has.
Guilty
Picked up from the Inquirer tabloid Bandera:
Seems Flamboyant Celeb’s minions are working double time to disparage the stars of competing show. There’s been a barrage of unsavory rumors about FC’s Popular Rivals.
Ironically, FC is guilty of the same “crimes” attributed to PRs. FC’s gang claims PRs are haughty and inconsiderate, and that one of them picked up a guy during an out-of-town gig.
Yah, it’s like the kettle calling the pot black.
